About PNT Standards Consortium

PNT Standards Consortium badge logo. The PNT Standards Consortium was founded in 2026 with support from the Industry Standards & Technology Organization (ISTO) to be a consistent and impartial not-for-profit entity to maintain, develop, and improve open Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) standards that benefit the entire navigation community.

ASPN and PNTOS standards are laying the foundation for a more interoperable PNT ecosystem. Their long-term success depends on the active involvement of the broader PNT community. By participating in standards development, customers can help influence future requirements, ensure real-world needs are addressed, and contribute to a transparent, community-driven process that strengthens the standards and maximizes their value for all stakeholders.
